
There are a number of ways to travel to International Buddhist College in Songkhla, Thailand but we strongly recommend you to buy tickets from your country to Hat Yai, with a domestic connection from Bangkok to Hat Yai.
1. Connect a domestic flight from Bangkok International Airport to Hat Yai, Songkla. There will be an International Buddhist College van waiting for you outside Hat Yai International Airport, if you inform us of your flight and arrival time. (There are many airlines flying from Bangkok to Hat Yai: Thai International Airways, Nok Air, Air Asia, Orient Thai, Air Tiger Airways).
2. You may take the train from the Main Central Station (Hua Lamphong) to Hat Yai, Songkhla. You may take the first class sleepers for 1,394 baht, the second class sleepers with airconditioning for 845 baht or with fan for 655 baht, the second class express train with airconditioning for 575 Bht or with fan for 465 baht, the third class with air conditioning for 339 baht, or with fan for 269 baht. Be sure to get off at Hat Yai Train Station. Call us at 66-74-268754 or 66-74-268755, we will pick you up from the train station. If you know the schedule of the arrival time, please inform us in advance. If you are landed at the Bangkok International Airport, the easy and convenient way of transportation from the airport to the Southern Bus Depot is to take a taxi which is not expensive. The meter will show how much the fare is. Show the taxi driver the following Thai words: ไปขนส่งสายใต้
3. Take the bus from the Southern Bus Depot (Khon Song Sai Tai or ขนส่งสายใต้ in Thai) to Hat Yai. There are many types of buses to Hat Yai?IP Air-conditioned coach with 24-28 seats at 830 baht, Air-conditioned first-class coach with 32-34 seats at 576 baht, and Air-conditioned regular coach with 36-44 seats at 535 baht. Call us at 66-74-268754 or or 66-74-268755, we will pick you up from the bus depot.
In case you cannot contact us, you can take taxi to IBC (about 400 baht). Please show IBC address in Thai and ask directions.
