In Memory of Dr Peter Della Santina

Dr Peter Della Santina will always be dearly remembered by his students and friends at IBC. .....He was 'one in a million' kind of instructor, warm, compassionate, understanding. His students love and miss him dearly. We were fortunate to have him with us for a while, and the opportunity to know and learn from him. see http://ibc.ac.th/en/Peter-Della-Santina

Defining the success of the community living at IBC:

  • Balanced development in intellectual, spiritual and personal growth.
  • The peace and harmony, a sense of sisterhood and brotherhood that prevails in the culturally diverse student community in close quarter living.
  • Lending my fellow brother and sister a helping hand in learning and living
  • An international home away from home for the international community of students.

Despite and because of the diversity in cultures and backgrounds, the mature multinational student community turns learning and understanding of cross-cultural differences into rich living experiences

Major contributing factors to the success of community living and learning

  • essentially Sangha-based, Buddhist values prevail in daily living
  • spiritual maturity and the can-do spirit of the students in their application of Dharma in daily life
  • a lot of positive humour, willingness to learn, understand and accept differences
