Orientation Program 2012 for New Students

The International Buddhist College (IBC) is very happy to welcome all the students that joined the academic programs at the Sadao (BA) and Korat campus (BA, MA and PhD). The new students from many different countries, cultures and traditions will further enrich the colorful world of IBC. For the first semester of the academic year 2012/2013 students from Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Russia, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Thailand, USA and Vietnam have joined IBC.

To welcome and introduce the new students, IBC organised an orientation program at both the Sadao and Korat campus (July 5 - July 8 2012). The program included various welcome speeches, introductory presentations, cultural exchanges as well as sessions for academic briefing and course registration. The sightseeing trip on the final day of the program offered the opportunity to get in touch with senior students, teachers & staff and to start new friendships.
