IBC will hold a Mooncake Celebration on 29 September 2023 (Friday) at 5:30 p.m. in the IBC lobby/courtyard. You are cordially invited to this auspicious event.

Khyentse Foundation, with a generous matching fund from Malaysia-based Buddhist foundation Yayasan Pema Norbu Vihara (YPNV) - an official Palyul centre of Malaysia - has established a new chair in Buddhist studies at the International Buddhist College (IBC), Sadao Campus, Thailand.

Applications are now open to pursue courses at International Buddhist College (IBC) for the Academic Year 2023/2024 which will commence in July 2023. The programs offered are in English and Chinese mediums. Applications will close on July 15, 2023.

International Buddhist College cordially invites Buddhist scholars to contribute their research papers on Buddhist studies for the International Buddhist College Journal of Buddhist Studies of (IBCJBS) in Thailand.

Pravāraṇā is an auspicious day of observing on Ashwin full moon of the lunar month. It marks the end of the three lunar months of vassa (rainy retreat), sometimes called ‘Buddhist Lent’.

IBC will be holding a Mid-Autumn Dharma Assembly in conjunction with celebrating the auspicious full moon mid-autumn (a.k.a. mooncake or lantern) festival.
