19th IBC Council Meeting Held in Bangkok

The 19th IBC Council Meeting was held on the 5th of March, 2011 at the Grand Hotel Convenient Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok. It was announced by the Council chairman, Venerable Wei Wu, that Venerable Professor Dhammajoti had resigned as the rector of IBC. With regret and reluctance his resignation was accepted . A record was made of his great contributions to IBC since its inception.

The council appointed Venerable Professor Dhammajoti as Honorary Rector and Council Member.

Professor Charles Willemen was elected the new rector of IBC.
