2008 Lunar New Year Reunion Lunch of the Family of Buddha at International Buddhist College

(IBC February 3, 2008) International Buddhist College (IBC) ushered in the 2008 Lunar New Year with a Reunion Lunch of the family of Buddha. Hundreds of children, parents, relatives and friends from the institutions and communities around Hadyai and Songkhla, and Penang joined the IBC sangha members, and Venerable Wei Wu, the Founder of IBC at the reunion lunch.

Members were given a spiritual lift with the Dhamma talk given by Venerable Wei Wu. The day's family-oriented programs continued with Chinese Mahayana chanting and offerings to the Buddha; songs presented by the IBC Weekend School children and their parents. The parents sang out the Bodhi hearts of love and care that touched everyone in the gathering. A meaningful and fun-filled day for everyone!

The program's finale was marked with wishing the Elder, Ven Wei Wu a happy new year, and blessings and gifts from Ven Wei Wu.
