The first peer visit from OHEC at Korat Education Center
A group of seven officials from the Office of Higher Education Commission (OHEC), Bangkok, are on a peer visit at IBC Korat Education Center.
The group led by Prof. Ahnon Tiangtrong arrived at the Campus and was received by Ven. Zhen Chan and other IBC staff.
Dr. Balee Buddharaksa, the vice-rector of IBC welcomed the officials, and Ven Zhen Chan gave a presentation and overview of the IBC Korat Education center.
Two lecturers Dr. Fa Qing and Ven. Zhen Man and three students Ven. Rahulananda, Ven. Fussadhaza and Mr. Thammasak were interviewed by the OHEC delegates.
Prof. Ahnon Tiangtrong, the Chairman of the OHEC team, confirmed that IBC Korat Education Center had qualified as a higher learning institution as required by OHEC.
Prof. Ahnon Tiangtrong congratulated IBC's dedication for the good of the many in establishing such an International institution in Korat Province. He thanked the five interviewees for their time and imput.
Dr. Balee and Ven. Zhen Chan thanked the OHEC officials for coming and supporting us. Ven. Zhen Chan looks forward to the continuing help from OHEC in this long term process of Buddhist Education and Community Services.
