Metta Clinic - Free Medical Services for IBC's neighbouring communities

The Metta Clinic Team from Malaysia - more than 15 member-strong arrived, full of energy and spirits, ready for this month's service to IBC neighbouring communities. They were happy to be back, to treat the patients they have known before and tend to the new ones.

Services began immediately after they had their lunch. Our IBC students and staff, and volunteers from Hatyai joined the Metta Clinic team in processing the patients' particulars for the physicians, translations, reading and dispensing the medicines and herbal implements.

Some of them have got used to the needle treatment - acupuncture; no longer 'fainting' at the sight of 'needles'. Hahahaha - literally, got the pictures to prove this!!!!

oh..this month, the Team had a surprise visitor, Ven Associate Prof Dr Guang Xing, a visiting lecturer who just arriived from Hong Kong - he too was much impressed and happy to see what was going on.
