A Visit of Lecturer and Students from Mahamakut Buddhist University

A group of students from Mahamakut Buddhist University, Sirinthon Campus, Nakhon Pathom headed by Phrakhru Sri paid a visit to IBC Korat Education Center on March 15, 2012. The purpose of visit is to experience a conducive learning environment of IBC, especially in conducting Buddhist courses by using English as a medium of instruction.

The group first attended the lecture conducted by Dr Krishna Ghosh Santina on Mahayana Buddhism-Basic Doctrine. After an hour listening to the lecture, the group proceeded to the prayer hall for a session with Ven. Zhen Chan, the Director for Student Affairs. A welcoming speech and some useful information about IBC, as well as a sharing on how to improve the learning ability were given by the Venerable Director. Welcoming drink were served while IBC introductory DVD is played. After about half an hour's interaction session, the group left IBC happily at 5.00 pm.
