Web Information Training Programme

( IBC July 7, 2008 ) The 21st century a new era of Buddhists, both laymen and monks must be self-improving and upgrading day by day in par with the development of technology.

IBC, the one arises as the university in the 21st century while Than Hsiang Temple which appears in the changing decade of the century. Yesterday, the two web site information units from two places gained a lot from the training programme led by Dr. Fa Qing who is also the IBC's internet programme network engineer.

The computer and information network services at IBC provide the lecturing staff preparing lessons and fulfilling students' needs in doing homework. In addition, it also supplies services of e-books searching, long-distance teaching, internet admission examinations, storing data and so on. It has more than ten web sites for the usage of teachers, students and staff.

Since the establishment of Than Hsiang Foundation, our focus is always on new technology's development and training. IBC, which is under Than Hsiang Foundation, in the purpose of nurturing new era of preaching talents in Buddhism, IBC places the computer information programme in the curriculum to utilize the convenience of technology by the new generations' of Buddhists and monks to contribute more to the interests of the public, social and national.
