A Workshop on "IBC Intranet and Internet"

A Workshop on "IBC Intranet and Internet" was held at the Korat Campus on 19th December 2011. The main aim of the workshop was to brief students, staff and teachers about the new release of the IBC Intranet.

A welcoming speech was given by Ven. Zhen Chan, the Director of Students Affairs.

Mr. Bruno coordinated the workshop and presented the new Intranet functions that have been implemented at the two IBC campuses in Sadao (Songkhla) and Pak Thong Chai (Korat).

Ven. Sengchoy presented the Students Management System (SMS) by which the students will have the possibility to review their examination results online.

Functions available with the new release of the IBC Intranet :

- Students, staff and teachers can now use the IBC Intranet to retrieve information about the ongoing lectures, the community and the college.

- Students can now use the sections ebooks, weblinks and resources for their studies. They can search, download and work with ebooks.

- Students can now login to the IBC Intranet and download documents that have been added to the lectures by the teaching staff. Teachers can send further ebooks and documents to be added to their lectures.

- Students can now download ebooks and save time by using the advanced possibilities i.e. search of keywords and text-copying for citations.

- Students can now login to the students management system and review their data. At the end of the ongoing semester they can retrieve the results of their examinations from the students management system.
