Research Methodology Sharing

On February 23, 2016 at 9:30a.m., understanding the significance of Research Methodology in the academic pursuit, International Buddhist College (IBC) initiated a program for the students to boost their research and writing skills. The program run for two hours from 9:30a.m. to 11:30a.m. and it was divided into two sessions. The first session was introduced by Prof. Tilak. He mainly mentioned about IBC Research Regulation which began with the definition, purpose and benefit of research. Then he proceeded with a comprehensive overview of the Thesis Guidelines. In this respect, he stressed the importance of how to choose the topic, the process of thesis writing and the supervisory process.
The proceedings of program was coordinated by Ven. Satyajit who was responsible for Thesis writing. In that matter, he primarily focused on the structure, heading styles, table of content, footnote and bibliography with plentiful of examples and supported materials.
The program was ended successfully with the appreciation of participants.
