Dean’s List Award Presentation, 2016

February 24, 2016 (Wednesday), the International Buddhist College (IBC) presented the Award of Dean’s List to outstanding students in recognition of their academic achievements and excellence. A certificate and a token of encouragement of 5,000 Baht and 7,000 Baht respectively have been handed over to the awarded BA and MA students. The presentation ceremony was conducted by the Most Ven. Dr. Wei Wu, the Founder and Council Chairman of IBC, with the participation of the professors, lecturers, staff and students.

Dean’s List awardees are:
1. Ven. Susirigama Wajiraseeha Thero, (BA 4), Student ID No.: 1211002
2. Mr. Martin Grishev Lukanov, (BA3), Student ID No.: 201311009
3. Ven. Hui Chun (Chew Moon Wui), (BA1), Student ID No.: 201512004

Notably, Dean's List Award is presented every semester to a student who achieved a minimum combined G.P.A. of 3.76 and above, and Conduct grading of 3.01 and above in the semester. The student, further, must have been enrolled as a full-time student, and have been graded on the minimum of 3 courses, with the completion of all courses on time.

With the objective of promoting Buddhist values and demonstrating the validity and relevance of the Buddhist teachings as the foundation for building the universal humanistic culture for the globalized world, IBC is committed for the good of the many.
