In remembrance of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, 5 December 2021

In remembrance of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the community of International Buddhist College organized a special prayer by paying homage to the Triple Gem.
Today, December fifth is a special day for the people in Thailand. They commemorate today as the National Day and is the Father’s Day highly and respectfully in order to honour the birthday of the Late His Excellency the King Rama IX of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej. Our community of International Buddhist Collage also join hand with the residents of Thailand to pay the respect to the late His Excellency the King Rama IX of Thailand on his birthday today.
It is really a coincident that Professor Kapila Abhyawansa’s birthday also falls on to today, fifth of December, this makes our celebration even more special. The following is Professor Kapila’s message to us: “I was surprised to know that IBC has made an arrangement to celebrate my birthday also while commemorating the Father’s Day. It is not only an honour to me by the community of IBC but also an encouragement for me to be dedicated for my service to IBC for the good of many. I am thankful to all the members of the staff and students who participate in this celebration. Thank you all so much.”
Cakes’ cutting was participated by Professor Kapila and Professor Tilak. Drinks and yogurts was serve to all members.
