Ven. Khenpo Chonyi Rangdrol

Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy

A Bhutanese, Ven. Khenpo Chonyi Rangdrol obtained his Bachelor of Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy and Master of Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy in 2000 and 2003 respectively. Subsequently, he obtained his Doctorate in Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy in 2006.

After completing the above-mentioned courses in Ngayur Nyingma Institute (NNI) in Mysore, India, he worked as a lecturer at Dzogchen Monastery in 2003. From 2004 to 2005, he was a lecturer at Samye Memorial Institute in Kathmandu, Nepal and from 2006 to 2007, he served as a lecturer and General Secretary at Ngagyur Nyingma Institute. His last posting before joining IBC was at Mahapanya Vidayalai, Hat Yai (lecturer) from 2008-2021. Since the end of 2021, he has been working as a lecturer at International Buddhist College (IBC), Thailand.
