A Joyful Birthday Celebration for Professor Tilak

On September 11th, 2025, a birthday celebration for Professor Tilak was held at the International Buddhist College (IBC). Both students and teachers participated in the event. The celebration was simple yet meaningful, filled with joy and harmony.

The celebration started at around 11:15 a.m. in the dining room. All of us gathered to extend our warm greetings and birthday wishes for Professor Tilak’s health and happiness. Venerable Dipananda led the chanting session, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.

Before that, we sang a birthday song for Professor Tilak. He then cut a birthday cake, which we all enjoyed together. A variety of delicious food and snacks had been prepared for lunch dāna and the celebration as well. Smiles and laughter filled the hall as everyone shared joyful moments.

Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude to IBC for organizing this event. Moreover, we are also thankful to all the members who directly or indirectly supported this meaningful event.
