IBC Kaṭhina Robe Offering Ceremony 1 November 2026 (Sunday)

International Buddhist College (IBC) cordially invites devotees and well-wishers to participate in the Kaṭhina Robe Offering Ceremony which will be held on Sunday, 1 November 2026, 9am.

The Significance of Kaṭhina
The Kaṭhina Robe Offering Ceremony commemorates the completion of the three-month rains retreat (Vassa) undertaken by the monastic community. Observed only once each year, within a single month of Vassa's conclusion, it holds a distinctive place among Buddhist observances. For lay Buddhists, Kaṭhina is regarded as a highly meritorious occasion, affording a precious opportunity to accumulate merits through the offering of robes and other requisites to the Sangha community. We warmly invite you to join us in this auspicious offering.
