Dr. Zhu Xiaoning

Buddhist philosophy, Ch'an Buddhism

Dr. Zhu Xiaoning obtained his B.A. degree in English literature at the Nanjing Normal University in China; and his M.A. and Ph.D degrees in Buddhist Studies at International Buddhist College (IBC), Thailand. His main interests lie in Buddhist philosophy, Ch'an Buddhism, hermeneutics and classical Chinese. He has been teaching several courses in English and Chinese at IBC for nearly 20 years.

Lang Heping (Fa Qing)

Sanskrit, Abhidharma, Meditation

Dr. Fa Qing obtained his Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies at the University of Calgary, Canada, in 2001. Since then, he has been teaching Buddhism in Chinese and English in China, Malaysia and Thailand. He is now a senior lecturer and the Dean of the Graduate School at International Buddhist College. He is currently working on early meditation texts in Chinese Buddhism.

Mr. Kala Baran Chakma

Mr. Kala Baran Chakma obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), India in 2019. In 2021, he completed his M.A. in Buddhist Studies from the International Buddhist College (IBC), Thailand.

In 2022, he joined Phanthongsabhachanupathum Government High School in Chonburi, Thailand, where he served as a teacher for one year. During his tenure, he taught English Communication and prepared 12th-grade students for college entrance interviews. Since 2021, Mr. Kala Baran Chakma has been working at IBC.

Ven. Dr. Zhen Ti

Ven. Dr. Zhen Ti obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from the
National University of Malaysia in 1998. Then, she completed her Diploma in Education in
2007. She obtained her Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies in 2015 and Doctor of Philosophy in Buddhist Studies in 2024 at the International Buddhist College (IBC), Thailand.
Currently, she is a permanent lecturer and Director of Academic Affairs at IBC. She is also the Superintendent and Warden for the female hostel.

Ven. Dr. Zhen Ti

Ven. Dr. Zhen Ti obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from the
