A study is made of the principles of human nutrition and the diet essential for optimum health. And strategies for maintaining personal and family health are discussed along with simple remedies for day-to-day health problems.
A study of the development of computer technology and its role in the future of society. An introduction to personal computing including topics such as hardware and software basics, word processing, Debase systems, electronic spreadsheets and Internet skills.

A study of Buddhist art and architecture in the Indian sub-continent and Sri Lanka in a historical and functional perspective, embracing the following aspects: monastic residences and their gradual evolution; stūpa as a symbol of religious worship, the Buddha image of the Gandhāra, Mathurā and Amarāvati schools; Buddhist sculpture and painting in the Gupta era; Buddhist art and architecture in South India with special reference to Amarāvatī, Nāgārjunikonda and Jaggeyyapeta; the last phase of Buddhist art in India under Pāla and Sena dynasties; the heavy dependence of Tantrayāna on sculpture
